In combination with my theological education, counseling education and years of ministry experience, both as church leader and a licensed therapist, I have a unique position of being able to understand the differing facets of Christian Leadership. You and your family hold a special place in my heart!
Not many counselors understand the unique stresses and challenges that Christian leaders and their families experience. I've served in both vocational and volunteer ministry leadership roles throughout the years, and have been a pastor’s wife for 30+ years. I understand the unique pressure, isolation, disappointments and stress of ministry.
I have experience in helping leaders in ministry transitions, church conflict, professional betrayal, personal, marriage, and family struggles. Through my training in life and leadership coaching, I can help you understand and clarify your calling, contribution, and values for life and ministry.
Through my role as the Care Ministry Director at a large church in Southern California, I developed a lay counseling ministry that included a unique blend of biblical counseling, life coaching, and discipleship. This ministry grew from 20 volunteers on one campus to almost 200 volunteers on five campuses in four years. This has led to the opportunity to consult with churches in the development of their Care Ministries.
